The Hybrid PPC typically runs from December to December each academic year with Advanced Electives taking place the following May and June.
The course combines onsite teaching at the Law School in Blackhall Place with online learning, allowing trainees to engage with the programme while continuing to manage professional and personal commitments alongside their studies.
The course follows a clear paced structure designed to support consistent engagement throughout the academic year.
Learning is delivered through a combination of:
- onsite Friday and Saturday teaching weekends (typically 10-11 weekends)
- online Friday and Saturday teaching weekends (typically 10-11 weekends)
- online Wednesday evening sessions throughout each semester
- practical in person skills session
- independent guided learning
- and on demand eLectures which trainees can complete at their own pace
- additional catch-up or support sessions may also take place during lunchtimes where required.
This pathway is designed to maintain the same depth, interaction and academic standard as the full-time route while offering greater flexibility in how and when learning takes place.
