The Full-Time PPC typically runs from September to June each academic year and follows a structured weekday timetable, generally operating Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.

This pathway provides a highly interactive campus-based environment with regular engagement with lecturers, tutors and peers.

Learning is delivered through a combination of:

  • onsite weekday teaching
  • practical in-person skills sessions
  • independent guided learning
  • and on demand eLectures completed at each trainee’s own pace

Designed for trainees seeking a traditional full-time educational experience, the full-time PPC offers a structured and professionally focused learning environment with strong integration into student life and onsite activities.

Semesters
Semester 1 8 September 2026 – 16 December 2026 (including exams)
Semester 2: 4 January 2027 – 14 April 2027 (including exams)
Semester 3: 26 April 2027 – 30 June 2027 (Advanced Electives)

Choose your iPad

All PPC trainees must complete an iPad selection, including those choosing the standard iPad provided as part of the course fee.

Your PPC course fee includes an 11-inch iPad (A16) Wi-Fi 128GB as standard. If you would like to upgrade your device you may do so during the selection process. Upgrade options are available at an additional cost.

To make sure your iPad order is correctly linked to you, log in using the same credentials that you used for the FE-1 examination. The deadline to select your iPad is Monday 10 August at 1.00 pm.

Locker rental

Student lockers are available to rent for €57 and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

A limited number of premium lockers - located near the main lecture theatre - include built-in USB chargers. Keys can be collected from reception during induction week.
