• Legal Practice Irish;
• Law as Business: Managing a Legal Practice, and
• Professional Responsibility;

alongside specialist introductions in Criminal, Family and Tax.

Skills-focused training forms a key part of the PPC experience and focuses on the development of practical professional skills required in day-to-day legal practice.

Skills training includes:

• Advocacy,
• Commercial Drafting,
• Interviewing & Advising,
• Legal Research,
• Legal Writing,
• Negotiation,
• Presentation Skills, and
• The Complete Lawyer.

Trainees are also required to complete four Advanced Electives, providing the opportunity to tailor learning and explore specialist areas of legal practice (please refer to the Advanced Elective Prospectus for indicative elective options and formats).

The PPC also incorporates broader professional and practice-focused learning including AI in legal practice, legal technology, competitions, wellbeing supports and wider professional development opportunities designed to support trainees as they transition into practice.
