Schedule of Next Sitting
The next sitting of the Final Examination - First Part (FE-1) will be held between 1 and 13 October 2025.
Candidates can apply to sit their examinations online or at an examination centre in Dublin.
Online Examinations
Before you apply to sit your examinations online please make sure that your computer/laptop and internet connectivity are suitable. Please see our Technical requirements.
- All examinations will start at 10.00am.
- Examinations held at examination centres will finish at 1.00pm.
- Candidates sitting examinations online will be allowed an additional 30 minutes and will finish at 1.30pm.

Refunds
Examination fees cannot be transferred to another sitting of this examination. A refund of examination fees will only be given to candidates who produce medical evidence (i.e. a medical certificate from a GP or consultant) for non-attendance. No refund will be given if a candidate is present for the examination/logs on to the examination, regardless of whether any of the examination questions were attempted. Requests for refunds, together with supporting medical documentation, must be received no later than one month from the date of final examination.
