Practitioners are reminded that the Department of Social Protection put measures in place where there has been a delay in providing a PPS Number.

Addressing delays
Solicitors whose delay is both urgent and long-standing can use a new dedicated e-mail address: ppsnprobate@welfare.ie.
When using this e-mail address, it would enable the speedy processing of their application if practitioners could include their original e-mail together with any documents attached. Emails to this address will be dealt with as expeditiously as possible by a dedicated team of Departmental staff.
