The Future Legal Talent Scholarship is a new annual initiative designed to support students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing a career in law.
Valued at €5,000, the scholarship will be awarded to one student commencing a recognised third-level law programme in Ireland. The award may be renewed each academic year, subject to academic progress. In addition to financial support, the successful applicant will be paired with a Law Society mentor who can provide guidance, encouragement and career advice throughout their studies.
The scholarship reflects the Law Society’s ongoing commitment to improving access to legal education and creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. Many talented students face financial barriers to studying law, and this support will help them focus on their academic and professional development.
