Client care leaflets
Using the leaflets
Each leaflet is one A4 page in length, with space at the bottom of each leaflet for your firm’s stamp. They can be printed in colour or black and white and displayed in your office or distributed to potential clients. Aimed at the public, the leaflets provide basic information while urging people to ‘talk to your solicitor’ about any questions they have.
The leaflets have been awarded the ‘Plain English’ stamp by the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA). They have also been translated into Irish and commonly spoken languages in Ireland - French, Lithuanian, Polish and Romanian.
Solicitor's Guide to Clear Writing
Good communication with clients is central to a successful practice. The Law Society has partnered with the The National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) to develop a Solicitor's Guide to Clear Writing, with useful insight on the challenges different audiences may have, avoiding jargon and more.
