The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has published decisions and recommendations from 9 to 17 January 2023.
January employment case law
Cases covered include:

a reduced award for unfair dismissal where the employer treated an SMS message as resignation (A Worker v Tyre Company, ADJ-00034550),
-
an unsuccessful claim for unfair dismissal where the employer sought to arrange alternative work within the organisation in a redundancy situation (Colette Walsh v T.U.D., ADJ-00036915), and
-
