Cases covered include:

  • a reduced award for unfair dismissal where the employer treated an SMS message as resignation (A Worker v Tyre Company, ADJ-00034550),

  • an unsuccessful claim for unfair dismissal where the employer sought to arrange alternative work within the organisation in a redundancy situation (Colette Walsh v T.U.D., ADJ-00036915), and

  • a successful effort to change the name of a respondent to multiple complaints (Beverly McLoughlin v Lisa O’Connor T/A Hair Flair, ADJ-00031899).
