Starting the conversation with Elephant in the Room

With increased awareness about mental health and a movement toward removing the negative stigma associated, many legal workplaces are now stepping up to create more open environments within which to have some tough conversations.

We have partnered with the Elephant in the Room movement to kickstart our work to promote a stigma free legal community.

You can get involved by helping to design our elephant sculpture by simply (and anonymously) sharing one word with us to describe what helps you persevere through tough times and challenges in life.

Independent subsidised psychotherapy service

If you would like to avail of accessible, accredited and affordable psychotherapy you can contact LegalMind. This service is designed to support the specific needs of solicitors. Nothing is too big or too small, and all enquiries are fully confidential to our partner providers, Clanwilliam Institute.

Get moving to reduce stress!

The Mental Health Awareness Foundation are encouraging everyone to find moments for movement in your daily routines as increased movement boosts energy levels, reduces stress and anxiety and strengthens t self-esteem. What better time to get involved with the range of Calcutta Run events happening this year.

The annual Calcutta Run at Blackhall Place on 25 May will bring together our legal community for a day of movement, wellbeing and connection while fundraising for Dublin Simon Community and Hope Foundation. There is still time to sign up and achieve our target of €350,000!

If running isn’t for you, Rogers Recruitment Calcutta Tag Rugby takes place on 29 June and is still open for registration.

Support at every stage of the legal lifecycle
