Solicitors of the Future

40 Transition Year (TY) students from across the country are Solicitors of the Future after successfully completing the Law Society of Ireland’s innovative TY Programme.

Students from schools across the country attended the popular week-long Solicitors of the Future programme at the Law Society in Dublin from 18 February to 21 February 2025. The programme aims to teach students about the law and to consider a rewarding future legal career.  

Solicitor Vanessa Blake, Leahy Reidy Solicitors, Limerick, was one of the guest speakers on the week-long course. She discussed her educational background and her story to becoming a solicitor with the students: RTÉ News 

Solicitors of the Future is one of the many Law Society Public Legal Education programmes to widen access to legal qualifications and encourage early interest in a career in law.
