Returning to practice?
Are you, a friend or previous colleague planning to return to work in the legal profession after a period of leave?
While this can be an intimidating time, the Law Society Career Support Service is here to provide support through our Returners Programme.
This initiative has been designed to support solicitors who have been away from work in law for a variety of reasons and who now want to return to employment in the profession.
The Law Society's Returners Programme commences in October and involves a series of morning workshops conducted over Zoom, plus one-to-one support from a career adviser. The workshops and other resources provided will assist you with CV drafting and interview preparation support, as well as regulatory responsibilities, upskilling opportunities and other critical return to work matters.
Through the workshops, you will be able to:
identify what personal success can look like and put your priorities centre-stage,
be confident in making decisions that support your personal vision of success, and
connect with like-minded people with similar paths and career aspirations and share tips and strategies.

Places on this programme are extremely limited and early registration is recommended. If you or someone you know would like to take part, please contact Shane Farrell (email@example.com) in the Law Society Career Support service. Interested parties will be added to a waitlist and Shane will contact you prior to commencement.
