In that email, each accounting firm has been asked to confirm to the Law Society the name of a nominated ‘user’ reporting accountant who will be responsible for setting up and managing access to the portal.
They are also asked to submit a list of the solicitor firms for whom they act. Please remind your reporting accountant to sign up to the portal as soon as possible if they have not already done so.
This is important as, in future, all accountants’ reports will be required to be submitted via the portal.
