Latest WRC decisions and recommendations
Recent decisions published from 7-14 July by the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) relate to bullying, age and retirement, and discrimination based on hidden disabilities
Cases and issues covered include:
- A dispute regarding the delay and mishandling of workplace bullying complaints against a supervisor (A Worker v An Employer, IR - SC - 00003403)
- An application of unfair dismissal on presumption of discrimination for hidden disabilities (An Employee v An Employer, ADJ-00050742)
- Complaint seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under section 77 of the Employment Equality Act, 1998 on the grounds of age and retirement (Denise Murphy v Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland ADJ-00046831)
