Lands Central Filing Repository reopens
Tailte Éireann has advised that the Central Filing Repository, which houses filed Instruments, reopened on 13 November.
- Conveyancing
The recent closure of the Central Filing Repository led to service disruption for the Copy Instrument service for accessing Instruments dated pre-2006.
Asbestos removal
Remedial works to remove asbestos and ensure safe access for the Tailte Éireann team is still being carried out by the Office of Public Works. The works will be finished by 10 December 2025. This issue was originally reported by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Committee on 9 October.
Tailte Éireann is now accepting Copy Instrument requests for all Instruments. There may be some minimal disruption to service until 10 December.
