Updated GDPR Guidance
The Law Society, through the Intellectual Property and Data Protection Law Committee and GDPR Working Group, has now published a Best Practice Guidance Note for Solicitors on Data Subject Access Requests (SARs).
The guidance has been added to the website and includes a checklist for Solicitors to use when they receive a data subject access request. This information is provided as part of the Society's GDPR 12-step programme and corresponds to Steps 4 and 5.
