Phishing email impersonating the Law Society
A member of the profession has alerted the Law Society to a phishing attempt referencing the recipient's Practising Certificate (PC).
A copy of the email in question is below.

In this instance, a number of clues should help the recipient to identify the attempted fraud:
- The email emanates from 'noreply@info-needed.com' rather than a Law Society address.
- The email style, designed to provoke an immediate panicked response, differs considerably from regular Law Society Communications.
- The link in the email does not direct the user to the Law Society website, but a separate phishing site.
If you received this email, you can delete it immediately. If you clicked on the link in this email, we recommend that you contact your IT provider to investigate the impact.
