High Court judicial appointments
Applications are open for practising barristers and solicitors who are eligible for appointment to the Office of Ordinary Judge of the High Court.
Those eligible for appointment can apply in writing to the Secretary, Judicial Appointments Advisory Board, Phoenix House, 15/24 Phoenix Street North, Smithfield, Dublin 7, or email judicial.appts@courts.ie for a copy of the relevant application form.
Fully completed application forms received by this office will be considered for vacancies that may arise in the High Court during 2024. These applications will only remain valid pending establishment of the Judicial Appointments Commission.
Deadline and more information
Eligible applicants can submit applications for judicial vacancies at any time during the year. However, for administrative purposes, applications for current vacancies should be submitted by 4 pm on Thursday, 1 August 2024
