Solicitors are a vital and influential part of communities across Ireland. You can help to highlight the problems with the Department of Justice's flawed proposals.

Use your voice

The Law Society's social media posts explain how changes highlight glaring issues affecting access to justice, vulnerable defendants, and the fundamental unfairness of a flat fee for varied, unpredictable work. You can share these with your network to help friends, colleagues and family understand the issues.

Contact your representatives

Contacting your local TD or Senator will help them to be fully informed about the impact that the proposed changes will have in their areas. You can find contact details for TDs and Senators on the Oireachtas website
