Four Courts Consultation Rooms

The Law Society offers consultation rooms and on-site services in the Four Courts complex for use by members.

Facilities available

The rooms have air conditioning, phone services, free password protected WiFi and video-conferencing facilities.

Other services provided include:

  • Commissioner for Oaths,

  • court stamping,

  • printing facilities,

  • binding,

  • cloakroom and

  • mobile phone charging.

Room rates

Room rates are based on room size and capacity.

Terms and conditions

  1. When making a reservation, specify requirements (for example, individuals with mobility requirements, large volumes of files, large groups etc.)
  2. On arrival, register at reception desk.
  3. A booking form must be completed by the attending solicitor. Enter client or file reference (for your Accounts Department)
  4. Failure to cancel a reservation will result in a full room charge. Cancellations must be processed 24 hours before room hire commencement online or confirmed in writing to FourCourts@LawSociety.ie <;i>Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice. Under the European Communities (late payment in commercial transaction) Regulations 2002 interest is payable on this contract in the event of nonpayment 30 days after the date of invoice.
  5. Advise reception desk when the consultation is completed. If you fail to do so the room may continue to be charged to your account.
  6. Rooms may be re-allocated 30 minutes after the reservation time f you have not registered at the reception desk. This is very likely to occur during periods of heavy demand.
  7. The Society reserves the right to remove any unattended items from consultation rooms after booking time has lapsed.
  8. All items left in the consultation rooms, Writing, Reading rooms or reception area/cloak room are left at owner’s risk. The society assumes no responsibility for loss or damage howsoever caused.
  9. Return key to reception once consultation is complete. Solicitors who retain keys to rooms will continue to be charged for those rooms until the key is returned to reception desk.
  10. All items left at reception, cloakroom or in lockers must be collected by 5pm. As the office is closed after that, these will not be available for collection until the next working day.
