Regulatory Support Clinics
We continue to pilot our new resource tool, regulatory support clinics, at nationwide CPD cluster events. The aim of these clinics is to support solicitors with meeting their regulatory compliance obligations, and to assist in any way we can.
Without undermining our statutory responsibilities as a regulator, these clinics will allow solicitors to meet with Law Society personnel to discuss any regulatory concerns or difficulties they may have.
The next support clinics are arranged for the following dates:
- 8 October 2026: Kilkenny Law Society Cluster
- 19 November 2026: Cork Law Society Cluster
- 3 December 2026: Dublin Law Society Skillnet Cluster
The clinics will operate a drop-in service for solicitors who have registered for the cluster event, where you can raise any concerns you have on the day. For further information, email: regulationanswers@lawsociety.ie.
Please note, while the purpose of these regulatory support clinics is to provide general support and guidance to solicitors, as a statutory regulator, the Law Society will have to act if any type of serious breach, fraud or illegality is disclosed.
