A team from Stanhope Street Primary School, who took part in The Law Society of Ireland’s School Tasking Programme, were crowned the School Tasking Champion of Champions at Warwick University on Wednesday, 17 June.

School Tasking is an interactive competition inspired by the popular Taskmaster format, where teams of students work together to complete a series of creative, problem-solving challenges inspired by real legal ideas.

The team originally won the School Tasking Irish regional final, held at the Law Society of Ireland on 20 March. This gave them the opportunity to travel to Warwick University so they could represent Ireland at the Champion of Champions, where they competed against regional champions from across the UK.

They were accompanied on the trip to Warwick University by trainee solicitors Chloe Reck (Matheson) and Seán Desmond (Arthur Cox) who facilitated School Tasking workshops to the winning team’s class earlier in the year.
