Quick links for solicitors
Based on your feedback, our upgraded website has been designed to allow faster access to the content and resources you need. To do this, we’ve updated how solicitors navigate the site. For example:
- You can access guidance organised by your area of practice (previously under ‘knowledge base’ in the ‘solicitors’ section) directly under ‘Practice Areas’ in the navigation bar above.
- You can find help to run your practice effectively and in compliance with regulations (previously in various parts of the site) under ‘Practice Management’.
- You’ll still find courses from the Law Society and trainee-specific resources under ‘Education & CPD’.
- Reference resources including Practice Notes, regulatory information for individual solicitors, the Technology Hub and professional services like the Library and career support services can be found under ‘Resources’.
- Under ‘Updates & Events’, you’ll find the latest news, and information on major initiatives from the Law Society.
You’ll also find quick links to popular and important services such as the online Gazette and Find a Solicitor, along with information on our policy and law reform work in the website navigation above above. For your convenience, links to some of our most popular solicitor resources are below.
- Practice Notes - guidance from Law Society Committees.
- Precedents - documents for use in your day-to-day practice.
- Remote hearings - codes to join online calls in the High Court, Circuit Court and District Court system.
