Aim and Objectives
The aim and objectives of the day are to provide an opportunity for practitioners to update their knowledge in areas of law relevant to general practice. The day also includes information on recent developments in regulation. The aim is to offer practitioners a practical update in relevant areas from experienced practitioners and expert speakers. There will also be an opportunity to network with colleagues.

Topics to be covered include
  • Regulatory matters 2021 to include: AML, new regulation and practice developments including financial compliance and negative interest rate charges
  • The new world of litigation to include: litigation and remote hearings, personal injury changes
  • Probate Practice Update 2021 to include: completion of the new Probate Office forms and fees, completion of the Revenue SA2 form, changes in practice
  • Licensing 2021: to include online applications, pubs, bingo and lottery licences
  • Leadership in a Law Firm
  • The fair deal scheme an update for practitioners
  • Employment Law: issues arising from going back to the workplace
