Aim and Objectives

The aim and objectives of the day are to provide an opportunity for practitioners to update their knowledge in areas of law relevant to general practice. The day also includes information on recent developments in regulation. The aim is to offer practitioners a practical update in relevant areas from experienced practitioners and expert speakers. There will also be an opportunity to network with colleagues.

• Regulatory matters 2021 to include: limited liability partnerships – a practical guide and negative interest rate charges
• The new world of litigation to include: litigation and remote hearings, personal injury changes
• Probate Practice 2021 to include: completion of the new Probate Office forms and fees, completion of the Revenue SA2 form, changes in practice
• Conveyancing Practice 2021: Prescriptive easements and general issues
• Family Law: an update and watching brief for future developments including the new Family Courts Bill
• Family Law: Mediation
• Dealing with expert witnesses
• Leadership and team building: the importance of leading your team
