You will need to submit:

1. A completed application form
   1. Statutory Declaration of training solicitor as to service by trainee solicitor of period of in-office training (Form 7A) or
   2. Statutory Declaration of training officer as to service by trainee solicitor of period of in-office training (Form 7B)
2. Fee of €410 to be paid by EFT.

Please note that you will need your trainee login details to access the Hub.

After completing the Essentials of Legal Practice Course (ELPC) and your in-office period, you will be eligible to apply for admission to the roll of solicitors.

You must be disbarred before applying to the roll of solicitors. If you chose to delay this until after completing the ELPC, you must provide the letter of disbarment with this application.  

A fully completed application form must be signed, dated and accompanied by the fee of €560, payable to the Law Society of Ireland. Please contact the Roll of Solicitors for payment instructions.

Completed application forms and queries regarding your admission can be directed to: Admissions Executive, Roll of Solicitors Office, The Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7.

Upon your admission to the Roll of Solicitors, you will be notified as to the date of the next available Parchment Ceremony. The ceremony on which you are placed may not necessarily be the most imminent parchment ceremony.  Please wait until you have been specifically notified as to the ceremony on which you have been placed before making arrangements to attend.

It is not necessary to attend a Parchment Ceremony in order to receive your parchment. Upon request, your parchment may be sent to you or you may collect it from the Law Society as soon as it is ready.
