The LUAS stops (Central Zone on the Red Line) nearest to Blackhall Place are Smithfield and the National Museum of Ireland.
The nearest Green Line LUAS stop is Grangegorman, a 15-minute walk from Blackhall Place.
Bus routes serving Blackhall Place are 37, 39, 39A, N2 or 70. From the city centre, go to Burgh Quay.
You can also take the number 90 bus which runs between Tara Street DART station and Heuston Station, each way.

Head north on Blackhall Place towards Blackhall Street
Turn right onto King Street North
Slight left onto George’s Lane
Destination (George's Court) will be on the right.

Getting to Four Courts
The Four Courts are located on Inn's Quay - see Google Maps.
LUAS stop (central zone on Red Line) is Four Courts.
The main building in Blackhall Place, built in 1783, was not designed with accessibility in mind. However, people with disabilities can find helpful information to plan their visit here.
Wheelchair access
We have provided wheelchair access via alternative entrances:
- The door into the lobby of the Presidents’ Hall at the back of the building, where a ramp of 1:10 gradient leads from the entrance lane to the lobby doors.
- The door into the South Quadrant Garden and subsequently into the South Quadrant Corridor and Members’ Lounge Area. The ramp to this entrance is 1:9 gradient.
- A new more accessible entrance into the Vanilla Café via Academic Street.
Disabled parking
The Law Society has two designated Disabled Parking spaces available and can also provide priority parking near the above entrances.
These spaces may be requested in advance by contacting the Law Society on general@lawsociety.ie or by advising our Security team on arrival.
Wheelchair access within the building
Wheelchair accessible toilets are provided off the Members’ Lounge area on the ground floor of Blackhall Place.
The main building has a passenger lift for access to the upper floors.
Support for impaired hearing
The Presidents’ Hall is fitted with a hearing loop for visitors with impaired hearing.
