Browne Jacobson revenue climbs by 9%

Law firm Browne Jacobson, which operates in Ireland and Britain, has reported record revenue of €174 million for its latest financial year – up 9% compared with the previous 12 months.

The firm said that there had been growth across all its core sectors – including technology, health and life sciences, government, education, financial services, and insurance.

The results did not include a contribution from its practice in the North, which expanded earlier this year with the addition of Belfast-based Davidson McDonnell.

Browne Jacobson described the merger with Davidson McDonnell as a “significant milestone” in its strategy for the island of Ireland, strengthening the firm's ability to support clients operating across the North, the Republic of Ireland, and the British market.

Employment team completed

The firm said that its Dublin team had grown significantly, with new head of employment Marie-Claire Scullion being joined by associate Jack O'Connor and principal associate Jennifer Murphy to complete the office’s employment team.

Across the Browne Jacobson network, there were 13 lateral partner hires during 2025/26 alongside annual partner promotions, “reflecting the breadth and ambition of the Ireland growth strategy”.

“The merger with Davidson McDonnell further cements our ability to serve clients on a truly all-island basis, and the calibre of talent joining us in Dublin reflects the ambition and opportunity we see in this market,” said Ciarán Markey (partner and co-head, Dublin office).

Dublin co-head Jeanne Kelly added that the breadth of the firm’s work – from intellectual property and dispute resolution to corporate M&A and competition – showed the scale of the practice that Browne Jacobson was building in Dublin.
