Pinsent Masons’ profit figure falls amid investment

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has reported revenue of Stg £703 million for the year to 30 April 2026.

This represents an increase of 3.3% compared with the previous year, boosted by investment in staff, premises, and technology over the past 12 months.

Profit per equity partner (PEP) fell by just over 7%, however, from £797,000 to £740,000.

Managing partner Laura Cameron said that its investments had included expanding the firm’s geographical footprint to boost its cross-jurisdictional capability and efficiency.

Technology investment

“We have opened an office in Warsaw, launched an international delivery centre in Cape Town and established a joint venture with China Commercial Law firm following the launch of our Shenzhen base last year,” she said.

Cameron added that the firm had also invested “heavily” in technology platforms, developing proprietary technologies in-house and collaborating with vendors.

Pinsent Masons, which has been operating in Ireland since 2017, appointed Lisa Carty as head of the firm’s Dublin office earlier this year.
