Ms Justice Nuala Jackson for family-law conference
High Court judge Ms Justice Nuala Jackson will deliver the keynote address at the Law Society’s Family and Child Law Committee annual conference later this month.
The event, designed in collaboration with Law Society Professional Training, will take place in the main lecture theatre in at Blackhall Place on Friday 25 September (9.30am to 4.30pm).
Ms Justice Jackson will speak on the topic of ‘30 years of divorce in Ireland’.
The conference aims to provide practitioners with an overview of recent and ongoing developments in family and child-law practice.
Comprehensive update
Topical issues of concern and interest will be covered in a comprehensive update, while the event also provides an opportunity to network with colleagues.
Attendance is worth a total of five CPD hours by group study – 4.5 hours general and 0.5 hours for professional development and solicitor wellbeing. Registration is now open.
As well as Ms Justice Jackson’s address, the conference will include updates on case law and section 32 reports, and a panel discussion on psychological safety and wellbeing for family-law practitioners.
