Well Within the Law programme firms up
The theme of this year’s Law Society Well Within the Law festival is ‘From Resilience to Adaptability’.
The festival is designed around connection, conversation and shared learning rather than a traditional conference format.
The goal is to explore what it means to adapt in a profession where expectations are changing, technology is reshaping how solicitors work, and people are balancing the demands of delivering excellence for clients while sustaining themselves and their working relationships.
Also in the planning are:
- Connection workshops for smaller groups,
- An original live theatre experience From Resilience to Adaptability, created with Thompson Harrison and written and directed by director Donnacadh O Briain, bringing recognisable solicitor experiences and challenges to the stage,
- Theatre programme provides one hour of professional development and solicitor wellbeing CPD,
- Food, live music and plenty of opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and meet someone new.
The organisers say this is a festival to be part of, rather than simply an event to attend.
East and West
Festival East takes place at Blackhall Place on 10 September, with Festival West taking place on 14 October.
