The Courts Service is to extend its appointment-booking service from Monday 10 July.
The move covers three offices:
From 10 July, an appointment can be scheduled in advance of visiting these offices for a range of services and queries.
The courts body says that the changes will provide users with access to an online booking system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to make an appointment to visit the office at a date and time that suits them.
The service is also aimed at reducing waiting times, and ensuring that the correct members of staff deal with relevant services or queries.
The Courts Service points out that an appointment is not needed to make an application under domestic-violence legislation, as this remains a walk-in service.
For those without access to email or online services, the office can be contacted directly to make an appointment:
Those with further questions can also contact the relevant office:
The Courts Service has also announced that the Central Office of the High Court is piloting a walk-up service for customers attending the office without an appointment.
This will be in place for the month of July.
