Lavelle Partners med-neg team honoured by award
Lavelle Partners’ medical negligence team, headed by partner Avril Scally, received the Medical Negligence Team of the Year award at this year’s Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards.
This is the firm’s third win at the awards having previously scooped Litigation Lawyer of the Year in 2019 (partner Ciaran Leavy) and Legal Executive of the Year in 2018 (Jennifer Weafer).

Commenting on this year’s win, Avril Scally said the firm understands that no case is the same and listens carefully to each client to understand their needs and deliver service with kindness and empathy.
Lavelle Partners was nominated in five categories including civil litigation, employment, commercial and property as well as medical negligence.
The win comes on the heels of recognition across other legal rankings this year, including the Sunday Independent’s Ireland’s Best Law Firms 2023, IFLR1000 2022, Finance Dublin’s Deals of the Year 2022 and the Legal 500 EMEA 2022.
