John Lonergan, the former Governor of Mountjoy Jail, will address the next PCC Student Legal Seminar, which takes place on Tuesday 6 November.
Mr Lonergan was 42 years in the prison service, rising to become Governor of Mountjoy Jail, a position he held until his retirement in 2010. He detailed his experiences in the prison service in his memoirs The Governor: The Life and Times of The Man who Ran Mountjoy, published in 2010.
He is an entertaining speaker with a wealth of interesting stories to tell.
The Legal Seminar takes place in the Lecture Theatre in the Education Centre from 12.55 to 1.55.
