Shields Sadleir LLP are a commercial legal and tax firm based in Cork city centre with a strong commercial client base.  They have a vacancy for a Litigation and Employment Litigation Solicitor to serve their commercial client base.  

This is a new role and the offers the opportunity for the applicant to head up a growing department with a period of transition assisted by an experienced litigation solicitor looking to reduce their time commitments.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, tech-savvy, bright individual with a strong interest in working commercial litigation. 

Salary and benefits:

- Flexible working arrangements (4 or 5 day week) 

Role and responsibilities may include:

- High Court litigation

- Advising commercial clients on litigation risk

- Tax appeals cases

- Employment dispute resolution and litigation (training available)

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years PQE with proven track record in litigation

- Interest in business and dispute resolution

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel

- Strong interest in continuously upskilling to the latest technology

- Strong organisational skills, good case management and attention to detail

- Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to critical dates for litigation

- Friendly and efficient communication with clients

- Commercially aware
