Legal Vacancies is an initiative of the Representation and Member Services Department at Law Society of Ireland. It exists to facilitate both job seeking solicitors and legal employers.
Solicitors and other Job Seekers
Legal Vacancies is well established as the premier source of information for Irish solicitors about job opportunities. This online area receives close to two million visits every year.
Job seekers can sign up to be notified about particular opportunities, according to several criteria including, type of role, geographic location and employer through Job Alerts.
Legal Vacancies is just one of several services provided by the Law Society to link job seeking solicitors up with opportunities. Solicitors who are members of the Law Society can also make use of the CV Register facility and sign up for Newsletters that are emailed out twice monthly.
A whole range of other supports are also provided to job seeking solicitors by the Career Support service at Law Society of Ireland. These include a telephone and email helpline, one-to-one career consultations, CV reviews and feedback, etc.
See our Job Seekers FAQ.
Employers can avail of a choice of recruitment options. These include a ‘no name’ listing option, a candidate shortlisting service and interview arrangement service.
A range of advertising optional extras including Display Ads and Gazette advertising are also available. For fees payable for each ad or additional service, see our rate card.
Placing an advertisement on the Legal Vacancies is easy to organise and any employer can do this through the website. See our Employers FAQ.
