About the role

The primary objective of the role is to deliver indispensable content that their customers love. To do this, they will need to keep their finger on the pulse of Irish law and legal developments and engage with practicing Irish lawyers regularly for the PAs they are responsible for.

The individual will be part of our Ireland team of PSLs, Paralegals and Commissioning Editors and work closely alongside expert panels of authors to help create and maintain practical guidance, tools, and templates for Irish law professionals.

They will be launching new areas. The Ireland practice areas include Banking and Financial Services, Employment (New for 2024), Construction (New for 2024), Commercial, Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Property.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, developing, and maintaining a market-leading content set of Irish practical guidance across the Ireland practice areas
• Devising and writing practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts, and other materials Working closely with the PSL
• Commissioning team to establish panels of Irish law experts
• Reviewing and edit the output of the panels to ensure that it meets business and customer expectation
• Working closely with PSL Hub to produce a current awareness offering, which provides high-quality news
• Engaging proactively with customers and contacts in law firms and in-house

Requirements:

• Irish-law qualified lawyer with a minimum 2+ years post qualification experience
• Demonstrate awareness of the legal issues and developments affecting the industry and practitioners in the above practice areas
• Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts and their practical application concisely, clearly and in LexisPSL tone and house style
• Demonstrate research, organisation and planning skills, and a strong drive and ability to meet challenging objectives and deliverables
