Dunkeel Ltd is seeking In-House Legal Counsel. Dunkeel Ltd is an established construction, development and property investment company based in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.

The In-House Counsel will report to and assist company directors to facilitate the accurate and timely delivery of commercial legal and contractual advice.

Through their experience as a private practice or in-house counsel (preferably, specialising in the construction/building materials sector), the successful candidate will have an understanding of the key legal issues in the construction sector and be used to working with and advising senior leaders on how to identify and manage such issues.

The successful candidate will also perform the following roles:

  • Reviewing commercial contracts.
  • Advising in relation to construction contracts.
  • Managing tenancies, contracts and other legal issues for a shopping mall.
  • Dealing with property law issues and disputes.
  • Advising in relation to conveyances.
  • Advising in relation to commercial litigation.
  • Liaising with outside counsel.
  • Manage landlord/ tenant disputes commercial and residential.
  • Manage company disputes.
  • Legal documentation management for company.
  • Preparing and issuing notices and legal briefs.

Experience of residential tenancies would be beneficial in this role.

All candidates should demonstrate the following skills:

  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Have excellent computer skills and be familiar with case management systems.
  • Have experience in transactional work, including acquisitions and disposals of mixed use, commercial and residential developments and share and asset purchase and sales.
  • Have experience in drafting and negotiation of commercial leases.
  • Have experience in company reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of 5 years PQE preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From €80,000.00 per year.
