The Legal Aid Board is an independent, publicly funded organisation which provides family mediation, civil legal aid & advice and vulnerable witness related services. They are also responsible for the administration of a number of ad hoc criminal legal aid schemes.

Applications are currently invited for Family Mediator Trainee positions within the Legal Aid Board.

This is a full-time programme for 6 months and it is anticipated the programme will commence in September 2026. The locations include Athlone, Dublin, Cork, Letterkenny, Limerick, Tralee and Wexford. The salary for trainees will be €611.75 gross per week.
