Dillon Eustace appoints asset and funds partner

Irish law firm Dillon Eustace has appointed Colman O’Loghlen as a partner in its asset management and investment funds team.

Mr O’Loghlen (small picture) specialises in advising firms on regulatory and structural issues relating to the establishment and management of all types of investment fund structures.

Dillon Eustace managing partner Donnacha O'Connor said the appointment would help to strengthen its position as a leading Irish legal firm and advisor to Irish-domiciled funds.

Growth opportunities

“Brexit and the recent new ILP fund structure afford great growth opportunities for the Irish funds industry,” he said. “In this context, Colman’s experience and expertise represent a great asset to our firm and, more importantly, our clients”.

Before rejoining Dillon Eustace last month, Mr O’Loghlen spent just under five years working in New York, where he advised many of the world's leading financial institutions and asset managers on Irish-regulated investment funds.

He had trained with Dillon Eustace, qualifying as a solicitor in December 2011.
