Dillon Eustace has named three new partners, across its corporate and M&A, tax and litigation and dispute resolution practices.

Richard Lacken has been made a partner in the tax division, Philip Lea is appointed partner in the corporate and M&A division and Rachel Turner becomes a partner in litigation and dispute resolution.

The firm now has over 200 employees and 45 partners.

Richard Lacken, who previously trained at a big four accounting practice, joined the firm in 2011.

An AITI chartered tax adviser, he consults on investment funds, real estate, banking, leasing, distressed debt, revenue interventions, structured finance and securitisation products.

Tax fund solutions

The move reinforces Dillon Eustace’s position as a market leader in tax fund solutions, with Richard’s particular expertise in VAT on property transactions and international tax reporting requirements.

Philip Lea joined Dillon Eustace in 2018 from another leading law firm and advises a broad range of domestic and international corporations, private equity funds and financial institutions with significant operations in Ireland.

His practice expertise is on mergers and joint ventures, private equity, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and general commercial matters.

Rachel Turner is appointed to the Dillon Eustace nine-strong partner strong litigation  and dispute resolution team.

She advises on a broad range of commercial litigation and arbitration cases and has a particular expertise in financial services, professional negligence and insurance. Rachel Turner also manages high value claims for Irish and international insurers.
