Death of retired District Justice, Brian Kirby
The death has been announced of Mr Justice Brian Kirby, retired judge of the District Court.
Mr Justice Kirby died on 2 February (unexpectedly, but peacefully, in the care of the Carmelite Sisters at Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey, Co Dublin).
He is mourned by his wife Kathleen, brother Tom, sisters Mary (Fleming), Patricia (Bastible) and Ann (Quinn), extended family circle, and many loyal friends.
Funeral
In accordance with current Government guidelines and Brian’s wishes, the funeral took place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, may be sent to the Peter McVerry Trust.
May he rest in peace.
