European law firm Fieldfisher has appointed Jennifer Clarke as a partner in its Irish litigation practice.
She joins the firm from Byrne Wallace Shields LLP and brings extensive commercial-litigation experience, with particular expertise in financial-services disputes involving banks, non-bank lenders, wealth managers, insurance brokers, and insurers.
Clarke advises domestic and international clients on high-value issues and has significant experience resolving disputes through mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements.
She will join Fieldfisher's global disputes practice, which consists of over 400 dispute-resolution solicitors across 14 jurisdictions.
The global practice was recently bolstered by the hire of commercial litigator Dermot McEvoy in Dublin, energy-disputes partner Richard Power in London and disputes partner Maria Bejan in Vienna.
Fieldfisher says that Clarke’s appointment reflects the continued growth of its Irish litigation practice, which is led by Killian O’Reilly.
After McEvoy’s appointment in 2025, the firm says that the litigation team has continued to expand its capabilities across commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, alternative dispute resolution, and sector-focused contentious work.
JP McDowell (managing partner) described Clarke as “an outstanding addition” to the disputes practice, who would add valuable expertise in financial-services disputes.
