Dillon Eustace appoints new taxation head

Dillon Eustace LLP has appointed Richard Lacken as head of taxation, with effect from 1 April.

He succeeds David Lawless, who continues as a consultant and a member of the tax team.

Lacken advises across all tax categories on a broad range of matters – including structured finance, securitisation products, investment funds, real estate, banking, leasing, distressed debt, international tax-reporting obligations, and Revenue interventions.

Donnacha O’Connor (managing partner) described the new head of taxation as a “highly regarded adviser with a strong reputation, particularly in relation to complex and sophisticated tax matters”.

O’Connor said that Dillon Eustace intended to improve its services and expand the taxation practice under Lacken’s leadership.
