Eversheds Sutherland (International) has reported strong financial growth for the fiscal year 2025/26, marking the completion of a decade-long growth cycle where overall revenue doubled and profits climbed by more than 150%.
Revenue increased by 8% to reach £827.1 million. Net profit saw a 13% spike, climbing to £209.4 million, while profit per equity partner (PEP) advanced by 14% to £1.61 million.
The performance marks the inaugural year for Keith Froud (pictured) as chief executive.
Froud attributed the expansion to broad-based growth across all regions and practice groups, highlighting particular strength within the firm's corporate-finance division.
Cross-border mandates
Complex, cross-border mandates had leveraged the firm's combined international scale and local presence, he said.
The 12-month period also saw heavy capital and operational investments, specifically targeting lateral hiring and legal technology.
There was a record 37 lateral partner hires globally, double the volume of the previous financial year, and 25 internal partner promotions.
More than 2,000 of its lawyers now actively integrate legal AI platform Harvey into their daily workflows.
The firm also completed an in-person relationship-development programme for its lawyers.
