DWF, which provides legal and business services, has promoted seven lawyers and announced 12 new hires in its Belfast office.
The promotions form part of DWF’s global promotions round, which saw 263 staff promoted across the business – including 22 new partners or partner-equivalent roles.
In Belfast, dispute-resolution lawyer James Griffiths has been promoted to partner, while fellow dispute-resolution lawyer Carley Chapman and insurance lawyer Ciara Liddy have been promoted to become directors.
Also in the insurance-services division, Catherine Astbury and Claire Flynn have been promoted to senior associates.
DWF has promoted construction lawyer Lauren Hamilton to become an associate and Emma Wilson has been promoted to paralegal within the real-estate team.
The firm has also strengthened its Belfast team with 12 new starters across its insurance-services and commercial-services divisions.
Belfast managing partner Julie Galbraith said that the promotions reflected the “depth of talent and ambition” within its team.
