War of Independence and its legal aspect
A talk by Dr Barry Whelan will form part of the Law Society public lecture series in February 2023.
‘Advancing Irish freedom: the law and the War of Independence 1919-21’ is the title of Dr Whelan’s lecture, which will take place in the Education Centre, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7, on 15 February 2023.
Brehon Laws
John Biggins of Maynooth University will also speak on the topic of ‘Finding and losing the Brehon Laws through time’.
The event will run from 6 - 8pm, with refreshments afterwards in the atrium.
