International legal firm Dentons, which opened an office in Dublin last year, has launched a new global venture to provide what it describes as “strategic” advice and support for clients across a range of areas.
Dentons Global Advisors will specialise in services such as commercial diplomacy, capital markets, the management of crises and disputes, and advising on geopolitical risks.
The new firm comprises founding member Albright Stonebridge Group, which is chaired by former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright (pictured), along with a team of experienced advisers. Ed Reilly will be its chief executive.
Dentons says the new venture has experts in financial and regulatory centres throughout the world, with further coverage through Dentons’ presence in 204 locations across 81 countries.
“While Dentons Global Advisors is independent from Dentons, and will work alongside other consulting firms, law firms, accounting firms, and professional service providers of any expertise, its unique connection and combination with Dentons will provide a distinctive opportunity for clients to draw upon a broad range of expertise and drive seamless execution when needed,” the company says.
