Belfast firm passes 100-lawyer landmark
The North’s largest law firm Carson McDowell has hired its 100th lawyer, bringing the total staff headcount to 180.
Lynsay Black’s recruitment to the banking team makes Carson McDowell the first law firm in the North to achieve this landmark number, and puts it significantly ahead of its closest competitor.
Growth
The firm, which employs an additional 80 staff across marketing, finance, IT and administration, expanded its healthcare team in Dublin in 2019, and has seen significant growth in all practice areas.
Managing partner Roger McMillan said that, as the demands for specialist legal expertise increase across its client base, Carson McDowell expects to grow further this year.
