Legal healthcare specialists Carson McDowell is expanding its Dublin footprint.
The biggest independent law firm in the North works primarily in healthcare and professional negligence for medical defence organisations and medical malpractice insurers.
Carson McDowell has expanded its specialist legal healthcare team in Dublin and announced additional recruitment in response to growing demand for its services in Ireland.
Growing demand
Managing partner Roger McMillan said: “We are expanding our leading Ireland team to respond to the growing demand for medical indemnity legal expertise in this jurisdiction.
“Our healthcare team continues to work closely with our key clients to identify innovative ways to manage clinical claims’ cases in Ireland.
Carson McDowell is currently recruiting for a senior associate solicitor and two assistant solicitors to expand the healthcare team at its Windsor Place, Dublin, office.
Claims expert Karl Redmond, formerly of the State Claims Agency, recently joined the firm.
Associate solicitor Anna Kirwan, previously of the Medical Protection Society, and assistant solicitors Alan Martin and Emma Duffy have also joined the growing Dublin team.
