Dublin Rape Crisis Centre  benefits from film screening

Tully Rinckey will donate the proceeds from its screening of RBG (the file about US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg) to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.

The film chronicles how Justice Bader Ginsburg developed a legal legacy while becoming a pop culture icon.

The ‘Women in Law: A Private Screening of RBG’ event will take place on Thursday 19 September at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield, Dublin 7. A limited number of tickets are still available through Eventbrite.com at a cost of €27.55 (including fees).

Participation

There will be a wine reception before the screening, and the film will be followed by a panel discussion on the advancement of gender balance and participation of women in the Irish legal sector.

Tully Rinckey partner Barry Crushell says: “The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is of enormous benefit to the communities it serves, working tirelessly to prevent sexual violence and eliminate its tolerance in society through education, training and awareness-raising campaigns.”

It was established in 1979 and is a national organisation offering a wide range of services to women and men who are affected by rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment or childhood sexual abuse.
